Welcome to the eighth issue of The Invitation, where each week I share a question to explore in your Akashic Records or through self-inquiry so you can connect with yourself, trust your intuition, and invite miracles into your life.
This week, I invite you to explore the question, What truth am I avoiding that is ready to be acknowledged?
So far in the first seven invitations (read or listen to them here), I’ve been easing you into your co-creation with the Records. This week, as we come to the end of 2025, I want to really anchor us into a question that might seem confronting, but will be met with all the love from your guides.
It is a question that asks you to meet yourself with honesty and tenderness. Not the kind of honesty that feels harsh or heavy, but the kind that creates space. The kind that arrives when you’re finally ready to stop circling around something and be with the Truth.
There’s always a moment, right before we acknowledge a truth, when the body holds both contraction and expansion at the same time. That mix of I’m nervous to see this, and I’m so relieved to finally name it. If you feel that, you’re in the right place.
I also just want to say, you’re not doing this alone. I sit with this question often, and it brings up the same flutter of anxious butterflies for me too. Truth-telling isn’t easy, but it’s always clarifying and deeply liberating.
This isn’t about calling yourself out or forcing yourself into a breakthrough. It’s about meeting yourself exactly where you are and saying, I’m ready to see this now.
Sometimes the truth is loud. Sometimes it’s a whisper you’ve been quietly avoiding. Sometimes it’s an inner knowing you’ve already felt but haven’t wanted to name.
Wherever you find yourself this week, let this question be an invitation to soften into what’s real, not to judge it.
Once you open yourself up to seeing the truth, everything starts to shift.
HOW TO EXPLORE THIS QUESTION IN YOUR RECORDS:
When you open your Records this week, bring this question with you: What truth am I avoiding that is ready to be acknowledged?
Before you begin, take a few slow, deep breaths and let your body settle. Feel your feet on the floor, your seat supported, your breath softening. When you feel ready, open your Records using the Universal Akashic Prayer (you can also follow along with me on YouTube if you’d like support as you enter).
Once you’re inside, ask the question gently. Let it land. You don’t have to dig or search. The Records will guide you toward whatever truth is ready to be seen. Nothing more, nothing less.
As you listen, pay attention to the subtle ways the guidance might arrive. It may show up as:
a feeling in your body
a memory that comes to the surface
a phrase you’ve been avoiding saying out loud
an image or symbol that holds meaning for you
a truth you already knew, but weren’t quite ready to name
Let whatever comes through be enough. This question can stir a lot, so go slowly. You can always pause, breathe, or return to it later.
If you want to explore more deeply, you can ask gentle follow-up questions like:
What is the truth underneath this?
Why has this truth been hard for me to acknowledge?
How is this truth inviting me into my next chapter?
What support do I need as I face this truth with honesty and care?
How can I hold myself with compassion as I name this?
Write down anything that stands out, even if it doesn’t feel fully clear yet. Truth often arrives in pieces. It makes more sense as you sit with it over time.
When you close your Records, take a moment to place a hand on your heart and thank yourself for showing up with so much courage. Then ask yourself one last, simple question: What is one small way I can honor this truth today?
No rushing. No forcing. Just a loving next step.
If you're new to the Records or looking to deepen your practice, I recommend taking my How To Read The Akashic Records Course, which will teach you the exact framework I use for myself and my clients, including the Universal Akashic Prayer and Guided Grounding Meditation. Learn more & join here.
HOW TO EXPLORE THIS QUESTION THROUGH SELF-INQUIRY:
If you’re not opening your Records this week, you can still work with the energy. Start by settling your body. Take a few slow breaths, soften your shoulders, and let yourself arrive in your body and in your space.
When you’re ready, bring the question into your awareness: What truth am I avoiding that is ready to be acknowledged?
Let it be gentle. You’re not trying to force an answer. You’re simply creating enough quiet and space for something real to surface.
You can journal, leave yourself a voice note, or sit with the question in silence. Whatever feels most supportive.
Here are a few prompts to explore:
What truth have I been circling around but not quite naming?
Why does acknowledging this truth feel tender or uncomfortable?
How might my life feel different if I allowed myself to fully see this?
What support do I need in order to hold this truth with care?
As you sit with these questions, notice any sensations in your body. Try to locate them and feel into them. Where are they in your body? Do they have a color or texture? As you go deeper, do they have any messages for you?
And if nothing clear comes at first, that’s okay. This question has a way of working quietly in the background. Sometimes the truth arrives later through an intuitive knowing, a conversation with a friend, or when you have a moment of quiet to yourself, like in the car or the shower.
Let the question stay alive within you and trust that when you’re ready to see the truth, it will meet you right where you are.
